FORT LAUDERDALE - When the 57th annual Florida State Science and Engineering Fair gets underway next month in Lakeland, Florida, 17 students from Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will demonstrate their scientific skills.
The middle and high school students earned their slots at the state competition by excelling at Broward’s annual fair, one of the largest fairs and science, technology, engineering and math expos in the state. Results for all students and schools at the local level can be found at (www.browardscience.com).
At the state fair, four high school students who demonstrate excellence will be selected to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania in May.
BCPS students who will participate at the state competition and their project categories are listed by school below.
