SUNRISE, FL – Doris Italian Market & Bakery, a premiere specialty supermarket serving South Florida communities, recently hosted a Wine & Food Gala at their Sunrise location that raised more than $3,000 for High Heels for HOPE, an auxiliary group that raises awareness and funds in support of the HOPE Outreach Center, a not-for-profit with programs and services that offer a hand up to people who are unable to make ends meet due to job losses, disabilities, health crises and other emergencies.

“Partnering with Doris’ has been a huge success for High Heels for Hope and we were thrilled that this event was a sell-out,” said Bernadette Falciglia, vice president of High Heels for HOPE. “While our primary focus is fundraising, it is also our mission to raise awareness during this the Center’s 20th anniversary year.”

Doris Italian Market hosts fundraisers throughout the year that benefit local nonprofits. With five locations across Broward and Palm Beach County and a sixth to open in North Palm Beach this summer, these events offer a unique opportunity to give back to communities across South Florida.
