Kathleen Cannon LCSW. POMPANO BEACH, FL - Kathleen Cannon, LCSW, President & CEO of the United Way of Broward County is the speaker at the next Women’s Leadership Council luncheon to be held on Friday, November 22 at the Marriott Pompano Beach at 12:00 noon.

Prior to joining the United Way of Broward County in 2012, Cannon spent ten years as the COO of Broward House, an HIV and AIDS community service organization, and has been in executive leadership for more than 15 years.  She is dedicated to the non-profit sector and committed to making a difference in the lives of people in Broward County.  She believes supplying outstanding services, maintaining sound fiscal practices, generating robust fundraising and influencing policy changes to the system of care are the keys to success.  She is a licensed clinical social worker and has served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Broward House since 2002.  Cannon earned her master’s degree in social work from Florida International University.
