WESTON, FL – Ed and Tracey Dikes, co-owners of Weston Jewelers, hosted a fabulous cocktail party for United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society on Thursday, November 14.
at Weston Jewelers, located in the Weston Town Center. Ed and Tracey recently joined the Tocqueville Society as new members. At the event, they introduced custom jewelry pieces designed exclusively for the Tocqueville Society and Tocqueville Legacy Circle. Event attendees included Kathleen Cannon, President and CEO of United Way of Broward County; Scott Parker, Chair of United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society; Julie Southern, past Chair of United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society; and other members and local notables.
The custom collection features pendants, pins and cufflinks. The Fleur de Lis design recognizes Tocqueville Society members for their significant cumulative giving. The “Impact Forever" circular design, with infinity symbol, was created for the Tocqueville Legacy Circle- donors who have endowed their annual Tocqueville giving in perpetuity. In addition, sterling bracelets with charms were designed for Tocqueville Society members, Women's Leadership, Young Leaders, and Legacy Circle donors.
United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society was established in 1990 to deepen the understanding, commitment and support of our most generous and community-minded investors. In the spirit of the great philosopher, Alexis de Tocqueville, and his admiration of voluntarism in America, United Way of America founded the Tocqueville Society in 1984. Membership in the Society is granted to individuals who give a minimum contribution of $10,000 annually to United Way. Partnership with United Way’s Million Dollar Roundtable is limited to individuals who have contributed $1,000,000 or more to the United Way cause.
